The brief here was to free up CNC programming resource for parametric standard products so to allow the programmers more time to concentrate of the bespoke specials to help reduce human errors that were occurring on bespoke products.
Although the product shown is this video is a very simple product, the project was to prove the process. The project is now expanding to more feature rich products and production work centres.

A Simple AutoCAD Automation Application
An application built for a customer to run a batch at a given time of day. The application connects to the customers sales order database at a pre-determined time of day/night as shown, retrieves the jobs set for that day and then generates all the drawings required for the CNC operator on the first size station. This demonstrates simple autocad automation of Acad Dynamic Blocks tools to generate parametric shop floor drawings.
The video shows the application running in Debug mode; so the Acad application can be seen doing its stuff. When the application is running in the feild, the Acad appliaction is run in the background.
